Congratulations to Ting Yang!
Our paper on microbial carbon fixation paper has been accepted by Synthetic and System Biotechnology!
Prof Yang hosts iGEM gathering for 2019 NTHU igem team.
The iGEM team is going to Boston for competition in early Nov.
Prof Yang is working with graduate student Vivek from Prof Hsueh Chia Chang’s group in Norte dame university. Prof Yang spent a week in Prof Chang’s group working on a new type of droplet generation based on iACE in his August trip to US.
On Dec 4 and 5, 2018, TIX holds the second bilateral workshop that focuses on the field of Optofluidics and Electrokinetics in Micro- and Nanoscale Devices. The first workshop was held in Hsinchu on Nov 9 and 10, 2017. These are cutting edge technologies that hold great promise in many micro and nanoscale devices such as labon-a-chip for chemical and biological sensing. The workshop will focus mainly on fundamental understanding of these exciting phenomena and their related applications.
The workshop is funded by TIX and the Technion to reinforce the link between Taiwan and Israel. The workshop aims at bringing together leading researchers from Taiwan (6), Japan (2), USA (2), Spain (1) and Israel (10) to share their recent progress in the aforementioned field.
